Keira & Jake are getting married!
After almost 11 years together, some of you have said 'finally!', parents breathed a sigh of relief and we got the chance to plan a day to celebrate with everyone that we love the most. We hope that as many of you as possible can make it, it means the world to us to have all of you in the same place together.
Timings
The invitation contains information on what time to arrive, There is a bit of a walk from the main entrance to the ceremony space and we have factored this in to allow you to arrive leisurely, park up and find a seat.
We have scheduled for the whole day, but if you need to pop out to check in to hotels in the afternoon there should be opportunity to do this (we can't guarantee that you won't miss out on anything though)
Sadly the day will have to end. This will happen at 11.30, The venue kindly requests that you please book your taxi's to arrive between 11.30-11.45, like Cinderella's pumpkin, it will all dissolve at midnight…
...Unless You decide to camp at the venue. Campers will head to the camping meadow where the venue will set us a camp fire for wind down and chill out after the wedding… to quote the venue's t's & c's it 'is not for continued party use. Noise is to be kept at a low level. If Two Woods team have to be called out during the night because of noise levels or security matter a £200.00 charge will be levied.'
Dresscode
There is no strict dress code, smart casual wedding attire is preferred but we would like you to be comfortable and the day to be colourful.
The ceremony will take place outdoors no matter the weather, and permitting, the majority of the day will be spent outside, however we do have contingency plans if the great British 'summer' decides to kick in.
Please wear sensible footwear. Being an outside location it is subject to weather change and is not suitable for stiletto shoes, we will be walking in to a woodland via uneven country paths.
There is plenty of cover from the trees, but please bring umbrellas just in case it rains and something to keep you warm.
The Venue
For those less capable of the walk the venue provides transport around the estate. Please wait at the barn near the entrance where our ushers and venue staff will look after you.
please RSVP by the 28th April either online or by returning the postcard provided. If you do not RSVP on time please bring a chair and a sandwich, we would like to let the caterers know that you are coming.
Food & drink
We'll be providing food and drinks throughout the day and night but the evening reception will be a CASH ONLY bar, So please be sure to bring enough. The nearest cashpoint is a 30 minute walk from the venue down country lanes to Sainsbury's (or a 5 minute drive if you can find a Des)
The Environment
You probably know that we pretty much love this planet that we live on, especially all it's outdoursy bits. Therefore we want this day to be friendly to it.
Only biodegradable confetti is allowed at the venue. Jake's mum has been collecting petals from her garden all year, but if you bring your own, please make sure that it is natural and eco friendly.
There will be recycling points all about the venue, please help us to keep this beautiful estate clean and protect the critters that call it home.
Social
We can't wait to see all the videos and photos that you take, please use our Instagram #keirajake
We are having an unplugged ceremony, we kindly ask you to refrain from using your devices whilst we say our vows. We have a professional photographer to capture the moment and we would love to see your faces and not your phones when we get the pictures back. After the I do's please feel free to pap away.
